Kinding-Ndé: education at the heart of our first joint action with FOBONYE
School supplies and renovation: the Forum is supporting a FOBONYE foundation project to improve children’s learning conditions.

A first step for pupils
On August 14, 2026, Deutsch-Kamerunisches Forum e.V. presented its first joint action with the FOBONYE foundation: supporting school supplies and renovation work. The public school in Kinding-Ndé, in Cameroon’s western Ndé department, was named as the first stage of this initiative.
The foundation leads the project with support from the Forum. Its aim is to give children better learning conditions, suitable materials and more welcoming school buildings.
Supporting the new school year
In a publication on August 30, the Forum also described its support for school renovation work in Ndé ahead of the school year announced for September 7.
The campaign flyer scheduled the distribution of supplies and handover of the renovated building for September 11, 2026, from 8 am. That date has passed. This article records the announcement; these publications alone do not confirm that the handover took place.
